For those unfamiliar, I got turned on to chicory coffee in New Orleans at the world famous Cafe du Monde, the Original French Market Coffee Stand. Sitting there with cafe au lait, made with chicory coffee and eating those wonderful sweet goodies known as beignets gives me all kinds of warm feelings. And I recreate some of those with coffee from Cafe du Monde. Whenever I see it, and it’s not often, I snatch up all that’s available. Including for the Daily Photo Project.
