This is 6 year old Erica Hughes and she’s been dubbed the “Miracle Baby.” If you don’t know her story, Erica’s mother Earon was killed and Erica, 2 years old at the time, was shot 3 times and left for dead. Erica defied the odds and, through the work of the doctors, nurses and staff of Kosair Children’s Hospital, she survived. Her story will be featured on an upcoming Dateline: NBC.
