The Lyndon Summer Festival kicked off Friday evening in Robison Park and the Voice-Tribune sent me to cover the fun. The two-day festival, presented by the city and their business association had fun for the entire family and invites everyone, including dogs like Cecil (above).
The Moonshine Millionaires played covers for the crowd while the kids played all around and even went to the special kids area for bounce houses and slides. Meanwhile the adults contented themselves with a beer garden. Of special interest to my son London was the petting zoo area. He couldn’t stay away.
He pet all those animals like Chrissy Thomas pets Savannah above. The Sunny Acres Farm provided hand sanitizer which, considering how much he had his hands on the animals, made all the sense in the world.
