What caused such deep concentration tonight as pictured above? The LIBA Brewfest 2012, of course. This years Brewfest took place at Slugger Field ahead of, and during the Louisville Bats baseball game as a celebration of local independent brewers as well as other businesses. I lucked out and got the assignment to cover it from Metromix.
LIBA, or the Louisville Independent Business Association, made this the kickoff to their “Independents Week,” and the Ville turned out in big numbers because LIBA had the weather, the Bats, and beer on their side. Befitting, really, as this marks the 4th year for the Brewfest.
