
When you think about communities with diverse celebrations, Louisville come to mind. This past weekend, I covered a party where a bunch of the riders who came to town for the Professional Bull Riders event on Friday. PBR Louisville has always been good to me when I shoot events there and they remain gracious. We even had some of the riders come in to party. See the all the party pics on Metromix.

Then Saturday, I got to do a photo story at a Jalsa event. Jalsa means celebration and the University of Louisville’s Indian Student Association put it together to celebrate Diwali, a festival of lights. They’ve done it before, but this on surprised everyone and turned into the biggest celebration of Diwali yet. See those photos also at Metromix. Get a sneak peek of both events below.
