So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to remind people that I’m a photographer. COVID-19 slowed business to a halt, as it has with many, many other businesses. And even before that, publications in Louisville ran out of money for freelance shutterbugs. Of course, that makes it difficult to survive as a creative.
Then, out of the blue, I decided I should show some of my back catalog so I can remind people that, not only do I love photography, but some of it has been good enough for people to give me money for.
Such as the photo I decided to show off today. the above photo was shot as a freelance photograph in the employ of local newspaper The Voice-Tribune. The even was called Sip and S.N.I.P. at the Louisville SNIP Clinic. It had just opened that location and invited the public to come in and see what they do with the Kentucky Humane society. They’re comforting a dog before he goes through the process. It was nice to see that it’s not just come in-cut-get out. It put the humane in Humane Society.
