There are so many memes that it’s hard to keep track of them, but this one I remember. I was shooting shoes for Amazon and Campos and these shoes can to my set. During the time when “Damn Daniel” was the popular viral sensation.
Most professional photographers will shoot a test or two to make sure the camera and the strobes are speaking to each other the way we want them to. And even though you tell your portrait subject to relax and the test won’t count, sometimes you get magic anyway.
For those that may not realize it, Brielle is not the beautiful lady sitting on the couch. That’s Lauren.
I should have bought these. Instead, I was concentrating on making them look good so other people could get them.
Finding archived photos has been interesting, especially when I can’t remember my mind state at the time.
Another snow storm in Louisville gave my son, London, a chance to show my “niece” Emma how to enjoy it even though it’s awfully frosty.

Three years ago is a long time. And when you are a portrait photographer during the coronavirus, it seems even longer. I can social distance while making portraits, but I understand why people don’t want to take a chance.
So the photographer brought his camera to see his grandson over the Christmas holiday. And, of course, photos ensued.
