Three years ago is a long time. And when you are a portrait photographer during the coronavirus, it seems even longer. I can social distance while making portraits, but I understand why people don’t want to take a chance.
Around our house, friends and clients, I’m known as a Baby Whisperer. It’s not a gift I take lightly, but it is a gift nonetheless. Kids seem to be comfortable around me and open up for photos and general fun. I think it’s because they know I’m just a man who has lived for over 50 years, but is still a kid at heart. We got a chance to meet Logan today and he’s a two week old supermodel. While the rest of the city made it’s way to the banks of the Mighty Ohio, Misty and I went in the opposite direction to visit with this pint sized bit of preciousness.

So you’ve seen that cute kid Carson, right? And now that I think about it, that should be his nickname. Or, at least, his hip hop name: Cute Kid Carson. He can have that, but I’ll need royalties.
How can you not love that face? My new buddy Carson and I made some pretty nice photos the past weekend, including this one. You know how some babies are just happy? That’s Carson. The only break in the happy happened when he got hungry. Mom Megan fed him a little bit and, with some milk in his belly, he was back to his happy self.
